The co-founder of this organization, Mr. Pascal Manetsch, met the Nepalese mountain guide Ngima Grimen Sherpa on one of his trips to Asia and conducted an expedition to the Singu Chuli 6501m in the Annapurnaregion. The two were planning to start a club or business together that would travel to Nepal and other countries and give Ngima Grimes Sherpa work.
Unfortunately, fate has meant anything but good with Ngima Grimes Sherpa; He died on Christmas Eve 25th December 2012 due to a foreign-born motorcycle accident and leaves behind two little girls and a dear, young woman.
Unfortunately, in Nepal, there is virtually no work in general. As a result, Ngima’s wife is unable to provide income. Through Ngima’s death, the whole family (parents, relatives, siblings, etc.), all living together, was completely torn apart. Most of Ngima’s family had to move back to their mountainous areas to ensure their survival with rice cultivation.
The founders have set themselves the goal of putting their shared vision into reality. This association was founded with the purpose of supporting Ngima’s family (providing school education for his girls, improving the standard of living) and supporting schools and institutions in Nepal and Kyrgyzstan.
This company has the legal form of an association, is registered in the Swiss Handeslregister (CH-320.6.073.912-6) and offers unforgettable trips to various countries. Certain journeys can not be found anywhere in Switzerland, e.g. Ski tours in volcanic regions of Kamchatka.
We do not work for profit, but donate benefits to families, schools and institutions, mainly in Nepal and Kyrgyzstan. We are thus pursuing a strong charitable purpose.
On request we will send you our statutes.
