This attractive trekking tour leads over the two ridges Talas and Tschatkal in the southwestern Tien-Shan. The tour begins at 2500m altitude in the picturesque Birkenheide at the mouth of the river Chihim Tash and runs in varying heights. Every day brings new nature experiences: Moränenseen, high mountain forest, waterfalls. The highlight of the trekking tour is the Sary-Chelek Biosphere Reserve, the heart of which is the beautiful Sary-Tschelk Lake.t.
This lake was created by the demolition of two ridges in 1873m height. It is 234m deep, surrounded by juniper trees and towered on all sides by snow-capped peaks. In the central part of the biosphere reserve there are six more mountain lakes on our trekking route.
On this trekking tour in the western Tien-Shan Mountains, participants will only carry their daypacks. Tents, provisions and the rest of the community equipment are transported by porters; a chef spoils the group with dishes from Kyrgyz and European cuisine.
Flight to Bishkek. Transfer to the hotel. Natural Park Ala Artscha (about 40km). Return to the hotel.
Drive to Talas. Visit of the historical monument Gumbes Manas. Camp.
Hike (15 km) along the Chijmi-Tash. Camp.
Hike to Chijim-Tash pass. Camp.
Crossing over pass Chijim-Tash 3600m. Camp at 3300m.
Passage over Pass Karakuldga 3161m. Tent camp at 2800m.
crossing over the pass Kashka-Su 3300m. Camp.
Easy day. Day trip to the valley Kara-Su.
Hike to the pass Kutörmö 2446m. Camp.
Drive to Osch, approx. 5 hrs. Visit Uzgen. Hotel.
Sightseeing of the city Osh e.g. Bazar, holy mountain Sulejmanka.
Flight to Bishkek. Accommodation in the hotel. Free time.
Flight to Moscow and further to Switzerland / Germany.
