Unlike the Elbrus Trekking program, we drive from Pyatigorsk to the northern foot of Elbrus – to Dgily-Su at 2,600 m. From here we start the ascent to the mountain. For optimal acclimatization, the daily stages are limited to 6-7 hours.

We then set up the camp, undertake easy hikes without luggage in the area and experience the unique volcanic landscape of the northern Elbrus area. During the acclimatization trips, we also bring some of the luggage upstairs. In this way we only carry 10-12 kg with us.
On the moraine at an altitude of 3,800 m, we set up the high camp. From here, or with the establishment of an additional high camp on the Lenz rock (4600 m), we go to the summit. We decide that on the spot with regard to the weather conditions and the condition of the group. For ascent and descent we choose different routes. Ascent of Elbrus from the north.
