Everyone knows the Ama Dablam – The Matterhorn of Nepal!
Ama Dablam (Sanskrit: “Mother and her necklace”) is a 6856 meter high mountain in the Mahalangur Himal in the Khumbu region of the Himalayas. This mountain stands completely free-standing before the giants of the Himalayas and is in no way inferior to its big neighbor: the “Matterhorn” of the Himalayas attracts not only mountain climbers with its beauty and technical difficulties. An ascent of the Ama Dablam is an experience of life!
